The Warren Commission Report
Thursday marks the
anniversary of the release of The Warren
Commission report on the assassination of
President John F. Kennedy. The commission was
created by ascending President Lyndon Johnson
6 days after Kennedy's death on November 23,
1963. The 7 member panel was headed by
Supreme Court Justice Earl Warren from whom
the commission got its name and included
future President Gerald Ford. After
interviewing over 500 witnesses, reviewing
reports from 10 federal agencies including
the Secret Service and FBI, and accepting
over 3,100 pieces of evidence, the report was
released 10 months after Kennedy's death and
established the lone gunman theory,
concluding that Lee Harvey Oswald, the
alleged assassin, acted alone. Despite the
extensive research, in the years following
the report was criticized. Many believed
there must have been more to the
assassination and questioned the methods and
conclusions of the panel. From this, the numerous
conspiracy theories were born. President
Ford, who was last surviving member of the
Commission, held firm to his belief in the
findings of the commission and his last
published work re-affirmed his stance. Even
after nearly 45 years, the report remains
extremely controversial and continues to be
challenged and examined to this day.

Assassination of President Kennedy, known
unofficially as the "Warren Commission", was
established on November 29, 1963 by Lyndon B.
Johnson to investigate the tragic
assassination of the U. S. President John F.
Kennedy. This incredible 27 Volume set is the
COMPLETE report of that Commission and it has
been FLATSIGNED by the last surviving member,
President Gerald R. Ford. All 26 volumes are
in tact as well as the 27th book in the set,
the actual published Warren Report. Books are
all in great shape with minimal wear. This
